Socio-economic Psychological and Situational Causes of Farmer Suicide

The study has brought out very important prominent picture of the socio-economic situation of the farmers to committed suicide. The situation reflects typical trend of livelihood it is characteristic by heavy dependences on uncertain labour completely rainfed farming very small holdings and low education level lack of subsidiary occupations. The cropping pattern is mainly dominated by cotton and soyabean crops. Which are mostly uncertain as regards their productivity in rainfed situation. All these families has found indebted. The production system was so weak and uncertain. Hence it is necessary to have distinct and sustainable extension.
