Sogdian collection. Issue 12

This collection is the 12th issue of the international journal Sogdian Collection and includes the latest research on the history and cultural history of Sogd one of the largest historical and cultural areas of Central Asia. The collection consists of 6 parts. The first part Written Sources includes the article Sogdians and their descendants by Sh. S. Kamoliddin and the article Cross-Cultural Elements in Sogdian Trade (5th - 8th centuries AD) by Ba?ak Kuzakçi. The second part Numismatics includes the article On Ancient Numismatics by G. B. Babayarov. The third part Historical Geography presents an article by A. Sandiboev M. Buzrukov and H. Rakhmonov New data on the historical topography of the medieval rustic Yarkas. The fourth part History contains a generalizing article by Y. V. Pylypchuk and J. V. Rakhmonov. The fifth part Historiography presents an article by A. Khodjaev Information of Chinese scholars about the Salars in the PRC - descendants of Oghuz migrants from Samarkand. The sixth part New Books provides information about a new book.
