Soil Investigation and Design of Foundation of the Trauma Centre AMU

This project basically deals with the various type of field and laboratory test required for soil characteriatoion.Further the main goal of the project is to design the foundation of the medical extension ( trauma centre) by considering all the processes from soil investigation to load calculation. This report focuses the important aspect of the soil mechanics and structural design while dealing with foundation of different column with different load position. Bearing Capacity plays the essential role while selecting the type and size of the foundation.Shear strength parameter of the soil governs the most of the bearing capacity equation and has been discussed in this project.
