Soil moisture conservation and INM Practices in late sown toria

The reduced tillage practices like minimum tillage zero tillage etc help in soil moisture conservation and overcome moisture stress conditions during rabi season. Rapeseed-mustard requires a relatively good amount of major nutrients for achieving the expected yield. Inadequate supply of these important nutrients with improper management often leads to low productivity of this crop. Under such situation finding out suitable moisture conservation practices along with proper nutrient management for sustainable production of rapeseed under the late sown condition in kharif rice fallow deserve to receive top priority.
