Solar Winds

In the style of his first book of poems Left Wanting More (2015) LaFountains new works are rich with sensual visual imagery as one might expect of a poet who is also a painter. Written in minimalist free verse a number of them are highly experimental and improvisational. There are humorous poignant and melancholic reflections on language and writing holidays aging near death and death as well as absurdity tragedy and wonder.
