Solid Lipid Nanoparticles

In this book a solid lipid nanoparticle (SLN)-based system was developed for efficient incorporation and persistent release of BH. A 3-factor 2-level Box-Behnken design was used to optimize the process parameters including Triglyceride (A) Tween 20 (B) and Span 40 (C). Four dependent variables particle size % CDR % entrapment efficiency and viscosity of aqueous phase were measured as responses. Mathematical equations and response surface plots were to relate the dependent and independent variables using Design-Expert software (DX9).
