<p>Solo’s Nose Is Out of Control is a 948-word picture book about a six-year-old boy who hates eating vegetables. The book is meant to be fun and silly while stressing the importance of eating vegetables to inner-city students.</p><p>Solo’s mother has tried everything she could possibly do to get Solo to eat his vegetables even veggie smoothies and popsicles but nothing works. Solo comes down with a cold that causes him to sneeze until his nose grows bigger than a cantaloupe then a watermelon and then an even bigger watermelon. Eager to shrink his nose back down to size Solo starts to eat his vegetables and even learns to like them.</p>
