Solving the Three-Dimensional Heat Equation Using Fourier Transform

About The Book

In this study the unsteady three-dimensional linear heat conduction equation has been solved analytically using the method of Fourier transform. A solution procedure for obtaining the temperature profile is described and adopted. This study considers the boundary conditions of Dirichlet type only. The result obtained from this study provides a reference point for future researchers who seek to understand and improve the study and gains made concerning the understanding of heat flow in three and higher dimensions.
