Solyanka Spies

It seemed like a good idea at the time travelling to the communist East Germany for a cultural exchange. It was early 1989 and the Berlin Wall was standing firm at least for the moment. I was there to learn about philosophy but the GDR's secret police had other ideas and before I knew it I was plunged into a world of spies intrigue and local apparatchiks. How would I get back home? And more importantly how would I rescue the burgeoning love I had found there? Part spy mystery and part love story this is a wry tongue-in-cheek tale built around the fall of the Berlin Wall.
