Some Heavy Metals in Ranya Lake Water Sediment and Fish Carp Organs

This study was carried out to investigate the relationship and interaction between water quality and welfare of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) in Ranya Lakelet. The experiment was conducted in the research laboratory of Chemistry Department Faculty of Science at University of Raparin Sulaimani Kurdistan Region - Iraq. The sampling of fish been divided in to four groups. Heavy metals contents analysed in water sediment and fish organs including Cadmium (Cd) Zinc (Zn) Nickel (Ni) Chromium (Cr) Copper (Cu) and Lead (Pb). In common carp body heavy metals measured in the skin gills intestine liver and muscle. Condition factor Gonadosomatic index (GSI) and Hepatosomatic index (HSI) BioConcentration factor (BCF) and Bio- Sedimentation Factor (BSF) were studied.
