Some Lessons Have to be Lived

<p>The book contains elements of social criticism with a strong sense of Christian morality at its core and is considered by some to be ahead of its time because of the author's life and how the biography approaches the topics of class religion low expectations and Blackness. Furthermore the author will use his gift to give America insight into the lives of urban youth (Black America). We must use our gift as he did and show why Black male youth matter!</p>
