The City Of Bayou Cane Separates The Underprivileged From The Rich Through A Bayou Cane Bridge. The Ones Living On The East Side Are Looked Down Upon By The Ones Occupying The West Side. When Shae Witnesses A Murder One Night She Knows That One Of The Eastern Residents Has Become A Target Of This Indifference In The Wake Of This Class Hatred.
