These mystical rhythms of nature were inherently captured in the authors mind from childhood. But the elders had strict prohibitions. Writing stories and poetry was considered taboo for young boys then. So even if he wanted to exposing his intellectuality to everyone was difficult. But who can stop the flower bud that wishes to bloom? Thus they were revealed secretly. During his student days Adityanath Mukhopadhyays stories were published under the pseudonym Srinath in various newspapers of the Birbhum district. Another famous author Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay was also born in Labpur in the Birbhum district who immensely inspired the author. Adityanath Mukhopadhyay has been awarded the Manik Bandyopadhyay Memorial Award and Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay Memorial Award. A movie named Raktamukhi Neela has been adapted based on his classic novel Takar Rang Lal. He has written many short stories and several novels. He died on October 9 1996 after a prolonged illness. His death had cast a shadow of mourning in literary society.
