Son of Jesse

Since the time of Moses and Aaron the Israelite people relied on the guidance of appointed priest prophets and judges for the leadership of their people. When they saw the nations around them forming under the leadership of one man they too decided they needed a king. When the whispers begin about a young shepherd boy named David as God's rightful king Saul the newly appointed king becomes jealous and tries to kill him. Now David the whispered chosen king must separate himself as Saul's proclaimed son protect himself from the king's proclamation to kill him lead his misfit friends family and people into a nation wrestle with his destiny and all while continuing to seek the heart of God.
