Soultina & The Peace Doctor

When faced with tough situations in her urban community she becomes The Peace Doctor. She uses empathy inner strength and culturally relevant strategies to help herself and her friends handle challenges. The series focuses on creating cycles of peace and guiding young readers in resolving conflicts realistically and compassionately with a special emphasis on the experiences of Black and Latino children. </span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1); background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0)>Each book explores various emotions and solutions through storytelling thought-provoking questions and fun activities.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1); background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0)>The Power Within explores themes including anger grief emotional intelligence and community healing. SoulTina navigates real-life challenges with her classmates and uses her Peace Doctor skills to help them manage difficult emotions after Aaron gets really angry about a missed foul call during a playground basketball game.</span></p><p></p><p></p>
