A Science Graduate from the University of Madras. She was a Government Officer and served for 37 plus years and have had a wonderful exposure to the functioning of Govt. their policies the world which was enriching enough. She is also a keen conceptual artist has a flair for landscape and abstract paintings. She have had four exhibitions where her work was greatly appreciated. She is an award winning poet. She got International Poets Merit Award ranked among the top 2% poets globally at that point in time and recognized and felicitated by the Ministry of Industry GOI in 1994. Aside from her artistic pursuits Selve Singh is also deeply committed to giving back to society and use her art to make a positive impact in the world.
