The Book Is A Fictional Story Of A True-Life Smuggling Operation That Ocurred In Central Florida In The Early 1970’S. The Operator Of A Small Air-Freight Company Takes A Contract From A Columbian Drug Cartel To Smuggle Aircraft Loads Of Marijuana And Cocaine Into Florida From Columbia. He Uses Pilots From His Own Business But Also Draws More Pilots From A Skydiving Operation To Which He Leases Aircraft. There Is Also A Love Story Centered Around The Protagonist And The Two Women With Whom He Becomes Involved. The Inner Workings Of The Dea And Their Efforts To Stop The Operation Also Draw The Reader Into The Story.
