South Carolina Marriage and Death Notices 1852-1859

There are approximately 2150 names indexed among them deceased citizens and marriage notices for newly married couples. Also listed are individuals involved with both groups—ministers relatives and friends. Among the deceased are seventy-three infants forty in ages 2-5 and thirty ages 6-16. Obituaries are compiled for four Revolutionary War Soldiers who survived into the 1850s two soldiers of the War of 1812 and three soldiers of the Mexican War.
