SPAECE and Pedagogical Management

This book deals with the Permanent System for the Evaluation of Basic Education in Ceará (SPAECE) and its influence on educational management. All the reflections and information organized here are intended to answer the following question: what influence does SPAECE have on pedagogical management? This question is circumscribed within the context of a secondary school located in the municipality of Tauá-Ceará which was the field of research covered by this book. Through this book the reader will be able to understand educational evaluation in Brazil since the 1990s with SPAECE situated in this context and find reflections and notes on how and to what extent this large-scale external evaluation influences pedagogical management in a secondary school.
