Sparks of Courage

<p>Kasy falls in love with Cain but then Cain’s actions and words cause her to question herself. She needs to make a decision but she wants to stay alive. Kasy battles the question of why she can’t leave. The physical and mental abuse tortures her and the deceiving lies keep her captive.</p><p>Kasy writes: “My life was a prison. There were many people that asked me why I don’t leave him. They would say to me I was so stupid. And I remember crying myself to sleep asking myself the same question: ‘Why can’t I just leave him?’”</p><p>“Depression overtook my life. The lies of the enemy were blinding me in leading me to believe that I never even needed the Lord Jesus. I felt multiple bricks attaching to my body and one by one the weight of the bricks made it difficult for me to stand tall with my head lifted high; each brick had a name.”</p><p>“The devil was following me wherever I went and yes the devil was having a blazing blast twisting my loneliness.”</p>
