Spatial and cartographic database of health care provision in Gabon

In this report we first carried out an analysis of the existing situation which enabled us to take stock of GIS software DBMS the available budget human resources and geographical data and to analyse the needs and make proposals. We then moved on to the actual implementation phase of the GIS: health care provision in the Libreville-Owendo health region of Gabon. In this phase we defined the overall architecture of the system modelled the spatial information system chose the tools (RDBMS Map Server Web Server GIS client software Webmapping software) and developed the Webmapping interface.
