Spatial Planning in Mozambique

The present research aimed to analyze the strategies developed by the municipality of Nacala regarding the community participation in the land planning process. Its realization was possible through the use of methodological procedures of a qualitative nature also supported by the phenomenological-interpretative paradigm. The study was carried out in the city of Nacala in the Nacurula neighborhood in the period 2018-2021. The data collection and analysis was based on documental analysis semi-structured interviews and participant observation.
