<p>Life has a way of hardening a lot of us. Monique is no different. From the day she was born and even before then her path was riddled with bumps and hurdles. These mishaps continued throughout her adolescence and became a huge reason for many of her struggles during some of the most crucial points of her life. Growing comes with growing pains but sometimes you have to wonder if some of those pains can be avoided.</p>
