Special Topics in Irregular Warfare

<p>This publication is an edited volume comprised of ten articles that address wide-ranging topics all of which are intended to help the Special Forces soldier better understand resistance and frame future research and analysis. Each article serves as a standalone piece for the ARSOF soldier to reference.</p><p><br></p><p>The articles cover topics such as organizational growth constructs of the resistance movement the public component of a resistance movement the interest identification indoctrination and mobilization phases of recruitment the threshold of violence to balance power to achieve a resistance movement's ends information technology and threat finance employed by a resistance movement methods of achieving legitimacy for a resistance movement factors involved in a post-transition to governance and external support leveraged for a resistance movement.</p>
