Spectrum Sensing Implementation: 5G Cognitive Radio Network on USRP

A basic problem facing the future in wireless systems is where to find suitable spectrum bands to fulfill the demand of future services. While all of the radio spectra are allocated to different services applications and users observation shows that usage of the spectrum is actually quite low. To overcome this problem and improve spectrum utilization the cognitive radio concept has been evolved.
