Spies

After 18 years without a single assignment an Asian-based CIA team is about to face the challenge of a lifetime. They must find a golden junk hidden somewhere in Southeast Asia before it's discovered by the KGB or two meddling journalists. The team's alias-loving chief-- known as Fer-de-lance to his friends and James Bonde to his enemies-- is joined by two operatives disguised as the American Traveling Folk-Rock band as they vie against Boris and Natalya and their KGB operatives (who are disguised as a flying Manchurian acrobatics team). <P>The resulting adventures in the Mekong River across the Laotian mudflats and through the jungles of Northern Thailand are an hysterically funny parody on the world of international spies.
