Spilled Tea Tastes Better

<p>Awakened by my beloved Auntie at 7:00 a.m on Saturday April 11 1981 at Tuckerman Street Washington D.C. with my wedding party of 24 stirring themselves to wake up because I would be getting married in six hours. During my entire engagement I believed that I would be marrying a <strong>King</strong> when in fact only after ten days we had just shared our I do's to each other in the presence of God family and friends I abruptly discovered that through having a long distance telephone conversation with my then father-in-law (RIP) and my then husband's stepmother I learned that I had married a <strong>Queen</strong>.... </p>
