Spirits Still Standing

On a clear night when the moon is low and full you can easily see them standing. Next to each headstone they wait. The local cemetery is full of them. The stones are as old as time itself the names on most worn away with time even so the spirits still stand in their designated places. They stand silently. Each of them have reluctantly risen from their slumber. They normally sleep long and restful but lately there has been a need to rouse.
