<p>My name is Donna Kay Harris.</p><p>First let me welcome you into my small world of spiritual awareness.</p><p>My spiritual awareness started in 1978. I used to write to free my spirit. I was at a point in my life where I wanted to be free—free from work family and old friends. I wrote to connect my spirit and have a clear understanding of my lifestyle. I started to write to find my authentic self as well as to realize if my family and friends were authentic to me and themselves. It helped me change my caretaking behavior.</p><p>Learning and growing in a way that I can serve God in my adult life this book is a gift to myself. I hope it is a gift to anyone who reads my poems. I hope my poems can help you on your spiritual journey in life.</p>
