<p>Springfield can under no circumstances be published in modern Russia and not only because of the wrong orientation of the main character.</p><p>I found this novel through a link from Facebook. I sent it to my friends with the words it's stronger than 'Edichka'. Writers are offended by comparisons to others so I'll say this: this is a novel of a generation. The generation of thirty-year-olds crushed by Russian reality destroying everything alive and different from the mainstream. It's a must-read.</p><p>For the entire first year of the war I thought about starting a free publishing house. After reading Springfield I realized that such novels and such authors need this publishing house. If not Freedom Letters then who? Contract number 1 was signed with Sergei. It is with this book that we begin.</p>
