Mick Grundys story unfolds starting with his exploits with the CIA in an ill-fated mission in the Crimea. He becomes the hunted and is nearly killed. Mick seeks revenge and is ruthless and savage when he finds a terrorist cell about to do mayhem to innocent civilians. The story returns to San Francisco where Mick becomes the hunter.
