Spy Maths

'Spy Maths' is a Maths topic that has been created to provide teachers with a complete unit of work that covers a range of key mathematical skills for Upper KS2 (Year 5 and 6) as-well as being an engaging and motivating topic set in a context that pupils will enjoy. Set in the dramatic world of espionage 'Spy Maths' gives each pupil the chance to play the part of a secret agent who has to defeat evil villains using a range of mathematical skills. The book contains lesson plans and resource sheets for 20 exciting lessons and further follow up activities. Each lesson contains a clear learning objective for pupils and an outline of the teaching required for each session as well as a list of resources. It also contains a 'Spy Challenge' which acts as a plenary to help pupils and teachers assess that lesson's learning.
