This book is the second part of a series of books that will focus on an English translation of the text known as the Sr? N?nak Park?sh that was written by Bh?? Santokh Singh J?. The Sr? N?nak Park?sh is a hagiographic account portraying the life of Sr? Gur? N?nak Dev J? through a poetical measure. This text was created by the great poet Kav? Santokh Singh J? in order for Sikhs to focus on the correct historical stories of the Gur? when there were many accounts that had been tampered. The distortion of earlier historical accounts led to Kav? Santokh Singh J? creating this text so that Sikhs would have knowledge about the founder of their faith. Through these stories’ individuals can also gain knowledge on great philosophical and metaphysical teachings.
