SRI RAMAKRISHNA: THE FACE OF SILENCE

Swami Nikhilananda is known as a notable monk of the Ramakrishna order. He has authored several other books including The Upanishads The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna Life of Sri Ramakrishna Holy Mother Religion and World Fellowship Essence of Hinduism Mandukya Upanishad and SelfKnowledge etc. He was born in 1895 and was a direct disciple of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. During his lifetime he introduced the teachings of Yoga and Vedanta to the West. He is known for penning down translations of the Indian spiritual literature. In 1933 he laid down the foundation of the RamakrishnaVivekananda Center of New York and worked as its spiritual leader until his death. Dhan Gopal Mukerji is a lecturer and a prolific author. Born on 6th July 1890 he was among those earlier individuals who left India for America. He completed his education from the University of Calcutta in India the University of California Berkeley and Stanford and the University of Tokyo in Japan.
