Stability and Control of Converter-Rich Power Systems

With the growing penetration of renewable generation and power‐electronic interfaces ensuring stable and flexible operation of electronic‐dominated power systems is critical. This book addresses three interconnected topics: (i) stability and fault performance of grid-forming (GFM) and grid-following (GFL) converters (ii) secure power transfer in flexible AC/DC distribution networks and (iii) low-carbon economic scheduling for shipboard integrated energy systems (IES).
