But when she prepares to finally flee her small Missouri town a run-in with a new neighbor Clara makes Naomi reconsider leaving. As she grows closer to Clara and reconnects with her estranged younger brother Aaron she thinks maybe she can nurture a newfound peace in a place that never felt like home.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>However Clara's controlling husband and town marshal as well as a force much more ancient and insidious threaten to break the new ties that bind her there.
