<p>Non-Fiction Experiential. Author is a lay member of the Roman Catholic faith and observes the practices of a secular monk. Meaning he keeps the hours of the Divine Office daily; as his state of life and disposition permits. When the Lord Jesus decides that the writer of this manuscript should suffer as he did; albeit in a watered-down manner; the author has learned to keep his mouth shut and his comments to himself (usually). Jesus suffered beatings and he was without sin so I reckon his secular monks should be content to do the same; if required. Anyway the author discusses various diary entries that he has made and may not be particularly concerned about the order (dates) of the entries. And hopefully his comments are presented in a manner that they may be of assistance to those who are seeking spiritual growth. Hence to improve on a personal relationship with the Father Son and Holy Spirit; to become holy as God is holy. This after all is required of us all. You don't want to be acting like a goat when Jesus comes to gather his sheep.</p>
