Project management is to projects what blood is to the body or what water is to life. From initiation to planning implementation monitoring and evaluation and even close-out; project management skills and prudent application of these skills to projects is what determines project success. The sad story of numerous stalled projects around the continent of Africa and beyond largely resonates with that of lack of skilled manpower to manage projects. This book analyses some of the critical factors that lead to project stalling. An understanding of the factors that impede projects from achieving their objectives is just the beginning of journey to find appropriate solutions. This book represents a step on this journey.
