STAND is a volume of poems and songs that deal with topics such as love spirituality African American Studies racism and other social themes. The first edition was published in his hometown area in 2000 and 2001. This 2004 edition includes two new volumes. The purpose of Stand is to build up-not to tear down. This book challenges the reader to think about its content. It is very much pro-Black but offers something to everyone.
