State Industrialization and Class Formations in India

<p>The purpose of this book first published in 1982 is to probe the nature of the state in India and the role played by it in the evolution of the social economy particularly in the growth of industry. In fact the problematic of the state and its relationship with socio-economic progression or regression is a dialectic process. What this book does is attempt to unravel this dialectic by following the theory and method of Maxism.</p>
