STATE-OF-THE-ART FACE DETECTION

Face detection is a fundamental component of computer vision a field of artificial intelligence (AI) that aims to enable machines to understand and interpret visual data. As such computer vision as the link between software and the visual world around us focuses on the recognition and interpretation of objects and environments from visual data. For example it might be a matter of determining a piece of fruit by its color shape and size.
