Status of Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative in Neonatal Units

Children are the future of a nation. Healthy feeding practice is important for child health. After birth breastfeeding is one of them. It is a gold standard feeding but during hospitalization of neonate breast feeding is distract. By this study sick neonates was observed as how the Baby Friendly Status was maintained. Its research process is a milestone for developed and developing countries. Questionnaire and its assessment tools for Baby Friendly Initiative are very informative and important for doing assessment at neonatal unit and neonatal intensive care unit of hospital in any other country. UNICEF/WHO (BFHI External Assessment and Reassessment) was a crucial document to assess the status which is attached here.
