School is finally out for the summer. Christopher is so excited! Now he can stay up late have no homework and play all day. Like many kids toys soon become boring. Christopher was no different. He wanted to do something exciting.Christopher has an idea that will be so much fun. He wants to go into the cornfield all by himself. There is one problem Mom.His mom told him many times not to go into the cornfield because he could get lost or hurt. Christopher did not want to think about the danger. He also wanted to see if there really was a scarecrow that walked around the cornfields if one dared to enter.Will Christopher listen to his mom or will he go anyway?Will he meet the scarecrow face to face?
