Stem cells in dentistry - dreams to reality

Stem cell biology has become an important field for the understanding of tissue regeneration and implementation of regenerative medicine. The discovery of dental stem cells and recent advances in cellular and molecular biology have led to the development of novel therapeutic strategies that aim at the regeneration of oral tissues that were injured by diseases or trauma.
