Stepping Out

<p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>It is 1958 and the horror of war is fading. 'Rock and Roll' entertains the young and the future looks bright. Alice and Susan meet in a women's hostel in Baron's Court London.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>They are both seventeen but from different backgrounds. An only child Susan has been spoilt while Alice comes from a broken home.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Susan invites Alice to go to a local dance hall on Saturday evening. Alice is delighted it was the right decision to leave her dad's. Susan and Tony take Alice to his house then they leave her with four strangers. She is terrified as she does not know where or how to get back to the hostel. This is even worse than living with her mum and stepfather.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>She wonders if she should return to her father but would he take her back?</span></p>
