<p>As Buckminster Fuller predicted in the 1970s our systems are currently unraveling making way for a profound global transition. The structures we've relied on are no longer sufficient for the challenges we face. In this time of uncertainty and change we need an old yet forgotten kind of leadership - the wisdom of Elders to guide the way forward.</p><p></p><p>In our Western world we no longer have Elders. Yet something deep inside of us remembers them and longs for them. What if we can invite people to step onto the road of becoming them. How would one do that?</p><p></p><p>This book is an invitation to you the reader to step onto that road to Elderhood. Elderhood is not defined by age but by a willingness to grow reflect and embody the wisdom we acquire through life's journey. The chapters in this book are not arranged chronologically but as stepping stones each one representing a unique experience insight or learning. These stepping stones are left natural with their edges and imperfections intact reflecting the reality of life's complexities.</p><p>#Elder</p><p>This is not a book of research or polished theories. It is a sharing of my experiences lessons learned and the awareness that emerged from contemplating life's questions. The journey to Elderhood is filled with ups and downs detours and deep healing. Over the years I have explored the 'layer cake' of my psyche peeling back one layer after another to uncover truths about myself.</p>
