Stereomicroscopic Evaluation of Vertical Marginal Gap in PFM Copings

With advent of competent yet expensive technology such as CAD/CAM in Dental fieldconventional methods of prosthesis fabrication such as crown and bridges cannot be adequately obsolete. Hence the use of materials such as DIE STONE having properties to positively replicate a prepared tooth becomes highly imperative so as to preclude any amount of vertical or horizontal marginal discrepancy when the prosthesis is luted intraorally. This compilation highlights the degree of vertical discrepancy in Porcelain fused to metal copings (PFM) fabricated on three different Die materials when evaluated under 3D Stereomicroscope.
