Still

<p><strong><em>still </em></strong></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Be </span><strong style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>still</strong><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen I will be exalted in the earth. </span>  Psalm 46:10</p><p><br></p><p><strong style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)><em>Can God give abundant PEACE when we choose to </em></strong><strong><em>walk in love joy peace longsuffering gentleness goodness faith. (Galatians 5:22) -in the midst of unexpected events that threaten 'life' and occur without warning??</em></strong></p><p>It was my husband Fabien Parent's unexpected stroke followed by discovery of his bladder cancer (that required bladder surgery) which was followed by his severe heart attack (that required triple by-pass surgery) that brought us closer to one another and to our families and friends. This chain of unexpected events started on our 8<sup>th</sup> wedding anniversary-- the very day that I had been scheduled to fly to London with Northside Baptist Church for a missionary trip to Wales. Through God's providence I was NOT on that flight! </p><p><br></p><p>Dealing with unknown outcomes requires prayer and the exercise of FAITH in God's written promises contained within the Bible. We are truly grateful for the prayers of so many and for the support of our families. The Lord '<strong>IS </strong>able to keep that which we have committed unto Him (2 Timothy 1:12).   </p><p><br></p><p><strong>STILL </strong>contains the moments of PEACE that God gave us that 'passeth all understanding (Philippians 4:7)! </p>
