About The Author: Jamiar Tucker was born and raised in Baltimore MD. He is the oldest of three siblings. Jamiar attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute then Morgan State University where he majored in Electrical Engineering. He later attended Johns Hopkins University where he received his MSEE.Jamiar began writing in high school as an outlet from his rigorous academic schedule. Jamiar continued his writing while in college and afterwards.Jamiar published a single poem called Street Folks in 2002 in a book of poems from various artists. He began writing seriously in 2003 and composed over 100 poems. These poems ranged in subject matter from love and lifes turmoil to politics and religion.Jamiar is happily married with two children and lives in Maryland. Stolen Excepts: Words Thoughts and Phrases is his first poetry book being released with more to follow.
