The party of seven on the yacht Doubloon included Holland film star Roger Vallance and United States Senator Ned Davenport currently the youngest member of that body. The others were Captain Luke Aubrey 36 Penny Archer 19 Frieda Muller 20 Sandy Larkin 18 and Olivia Barlowe 17 all of Newport Beach California. According to witnesses on land the party had dined ashore at Doug''s Reef the only restaurant at the cove then returned to the Doubloon around 11:00 P.M. Some time later Penny Archer said to be upset by the Captain''s decision not to return to Newport that night because of heavy weather apparently tried to reach a neighboring vessel using a shore boat. Her absence was not immediately noticed by the others but a search was finally mounted and the launch was discovered early the next morning floating off Little Fisherman''s Cove. No trace of Penny Archer was found then or during subsequent searches by boat helicopter and cross-country vehicles.CRITICAL ACCLAIM FOR ART HANSLS WORKFLASHBACKSArt Hansls book is a delightful sexy humorous romp through his life and specifically the bizarre world of B films in 60s Italy Mexico and beyond . . .Barnaby Conrad International best-selling author of Name-Dropping Matador and so many others!A CALL FROM L.A.a smart hip thriller.
